All images are prints of original paintings by Gertrude Lovegrove 1859-1961.  She was a well known botanical artist based in Sydney. She contributed to The Wild Flowers of NSW by William Baeuerlaen published in 1891. These images are courtesy of Mitchell Library, State Library of NSW.

Each image is digitally printed onto organic cotton sateen and cut into little flags. The edges are kept raw with a simple stay stitch.
